Can someone tell me what is a normal deposit amount when you rent a house in Lakewood (rent will be between $2000 and $2400 per month)?

The deposit is usually one months rent

The renter will most likely be on HUD. Does that make a difference? Since they won't actually be paying for the rent themselves...

Some renters on HUD do pay a portion of their rent, HUD doesn't mean free rent. Also is the unit is being rented for above market they would make up the difference between what you get and what they pay and market.
