Vermont is stunning it's about 8 hours you can stay in the jays peak resort or there are other ones it's stunning stunning scenery..

Vermont isn't 8 hours, more like 5, or 6 max. But for a shorter trip, Newport RI or Onset in Cape Cod would be great.
