What do you serve for dessert after the seuda? One year I made lemon meringue pie, another chocolate fudge cake, but they were both hardly eaten because the men were too full andr drunk to stomach rich food.
We'll have some hamentashen and sliced fruit. Just want a plated something that's light and still yummy. Maybe some kind of mousse, strawberry mousse perhaps?

My father who lived thru several wars believed in eating dessert first. He said you never know when you might get shelled and have to run to the shelter so you should eat dessert first just in case.

I find that no one is very interested in dessert by then and the kids are sugared up. So I serve a massive fruit platter with lots of interesting fruits (mango, papaya, melon, whatever else I see at fruit store...), plus a selection of baked goods and treats from mm I received. It is more than enough. Really.

Nobody wants dessert at our seuda on Purim. My mom serves sorbet and my MIL serves compote. If you want something that can be plated, how about those mini pretty layered sorbet cups?
