If you have a recipe that you like that doesn't slice well, just make mini individual kugels ro serve instead. No slicing required.

Thanks but that doesnt work for me because Im short on storage space. One kugel is more compact.
I know Ive made an apple kugel that I was happy with, I just am not sure which recipe I used.

charoses plus creativity
to my already food processed charoses I added potato starch 4 TB + more ground almonds + 2 types = 1 1/2 cut up apples into chunky pieces + 2 eggs + 3 TB sugar & cinnamon to taste & consistency then heated a 6" pan added oil - fried - flipped - fried - cut - ate
or just chop some apples [with their skin] and add nuts, cinnamon etc - so no grated apple - comes out without any 'mush'
