What are the Pros/Cons of trading a 3 fam house in BP, that has 2 incomes, for 2 1 families in Flatbush. One to live in, one to rent.

Are property values going up more in BP than Flatbush, so it would be a financial loss to the seller over the years?

Anyone knowledgeable in Real Estate in the 2 areas, has any opinions?

Many brokers focus on their profits, and can talk you into whats better for them, and then its too late.

Not so at all, one family houses start at a million in either neighborhood, these days unless you buy one of those 16, 17 or 18 foot wide attached houses.

Ive been warned that once youve been a landlord for years, you cant rent, unless you have no choice.

Really? Not what Ive seen. Can you link one house on Zillow in a neighborhood w middle aged people, thats not a "handyman special" for under a million thats not attached, w private driveway?

All houses need fixing up
And I'm not going looking on zillow now but I know 4 families that bought in the 20's for less than 1 mill recently. - all single family. Not attached (some with private driveways some shared)

are you still looking to sell your 3-fam house? we are looking to buy 3-fam house (wider than 20). I am willing to pay nicely and dont necessarily need a mortgage. if the location is suitable I would very much like to consider if you're still interested. pm me with details
