So what does one wear on Rosh hashana? For yourself and your children, are you wearing summery outfits (florals, shorts.....) or fall styles (darker colors....)
What about for succos?
Please comment I never know these things!

I base it on the weather and comfort levels. Not going to dress my kid in short sleeves if it's 65 and cloudy, and not going to wear a sweater if it's 85. But I'm oot, don't know if that counts.

Depends if it's cold or not.
If you live in tristate area I doubt it'll be cold enough for winter. If it's weather like today, for sure summer clothing.

I think it's going to be warm here so summer stuff. For succos I'm planning on getting fall outfits and if it's cool then we'll wear fall stuff and if it's warm we'll wear our summer stuff.

You wear the winter new outfits, no matter the weather or how hot the kids are. Just like u wear summer outfits on pesach, no matter the weather. That's when we switch our wardrobes.

In between clothing for in between weather. Heavy winter if it's freezing, regular summer if it's really hot.

If its cooler at night where you live, you can wear fall clothes at night and more summery clothes in the day. The sukkah can get pretty cool at night in some places.
