I'm putting a bunk bed in a bedroom which now has a ceiling fan. It would be very close to the bed so I imagine I have to remove it.

The room definitely needs a fan.
Do you know of any solution?

Thanks!

Air conditioning or window exhaust fan. A pedestal fan won't do anything for the top bunk, which needs it more.

There are also fans you can mount on a wall if you have a wall far enough away from the bed.

We have ac but it's not enough for second floor bedrooms, fans are always on there.
Do you think a vornado fan doesn't work for the top?

Do you know if they were happy with it?
I saw it or smth very similar on amazon and reviews said it blows only straight down and doesn't give much light.

Look up ceiling corner fans and door fans.

It's only a 9 inch blade (two together give them the 18" total) with a 15% cant to the blades, that's not going to push a lot of air and it's not reversible.
