My daughter is 12 and doesn't listen! I'm losing it. Tonight I told her at 9:45 to go up to take a shower and get ready for bed. She was sitting down to read the next chapter in a book. I told her once and she ignored me. I took the book away. She stalled and was standing around shmoozing with my other daughter. At 10:20 I hear her go up and turn on the shower. At 10:45 she's slowly brushing her hair like it's the most normal thing for a girl that age to be doing at that hour. I yelled at her and told her that I'm quite upset that she didn't listen to me tonight and disrespected me by ignoring and doing her own thing. She went to sleep crying and I'm feeling all bad:( can someone help me get her to listen more? Any advice would be appreciated!
