A friend of mine is going to Brussels for a few days during the winter and is looking for suggestions of what to do and where to eat. Any ideas or anything helpful to pass on?

Many things to do... what style? Grand place? Atomium? Technopolis?
My mother grew in the "ghetto", the Jewish triangle. It was already "bare" and isn't standing anymore, not worth visiting.
