We are looking into a house that has radiant heating. That means that there are heating coils under the floors to heat the house instead of vents that blow hot air. Does anyone have first hand experience with it? I've read about some pros and cons but would love to hear from someone objective who actually has it. Thanks!

My parents and in-laws have baseboard heating - is that the same thing?

No I don't think so. Baseboard heating has to do with water and radiant heating with electric coils.
