This letter is a form letter that the White House sends to everyone. There isn’t a special “rubashkin letter.”

Okay. We'll stop feeling special. I for one still believe that we should continue to show Hakaras Hatov, even if they don't invest in a Rubashkin letter

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.
So nice that people are sending thank you letters to President Trump.
Of course the White House staff has a specific version of a letter that they send back.
Can you imagine them writing a new letter for each person?
They'd never finish.
It's nice though, that they do answer.
I feel that equally important is to send a letter to that sick Jewish chassidic boy in hospital who as "his last wish" sent a letter to the President pleading for Rubashkin's release, and thus was the catalyst, be'H, to the President pardoning Rubashkin and freeing him.
Amazing Kiddush Hashem.

Haven't they learned yet at the White House not to hire people who know how to read and write?

That story is not fully true. Even if it is partially true, the boy is NOT dying , he is disabled. And we have no idea if his letter is what actually made Trump do it.
Don’t believe everything you hear.
