I see a recipe on kosher.com by Julie hauser for chicken Marsala in a slow cooker. I'm a bit skeptical; cooking chicken breasts in a slow cooker sounds strange to me!
I've made chicken Marsala before-fried it and then baked it with the sauce.
This would save me effort and time!
Anyone tried it and can review it?

Chicken breasts don't need more than 2.5/3 hours on low in the crockpot and should be eaten right away. I prefer not to cook breasts in the crockpot.

Bonless thighs are much more forgiving in the crockpot so I would use them over breasts for this kind of recipe.
