I wanted to make the Syrian dish kabob Garaz but purchased the wrong cherries.
So now I have two 15oz cans of red sour pitted cherries that I would like to use for the holiday. Any recipe suggestions? I never used these cherries before.
Thanks!

Cherry apple crumble: drain, add chopped apple, cover with a crumble mixture of ground walnuts, potato starch or matzah meal, sugar and oil. Bake! yum!

Cold cherry soup?
Add other fresh or frozen or canned fruit. 2 cups water, sugar and some van or lemon optional. If you like it a little thicker you can sub conf sugar for reg sugar

Great ideas.
You can also drain and put in low oven till they dry and viola, dried cherries for baking, salads, etc.
