My family makes out menu on Sundays. Everyone gets to pick one thing. Rules: cant be a repeat of what you chose the week before and if you dont eat the other people's choices, you dont get to choose the following week. Here is this week: (Every meal has a veg or salad with it)

Sunday - Ravioli ( I ate chicken left over from shabbos) and tuna
Monday - Spaghetti with a special sauce that my mother "made up", it's dairy and potatos
Tuesday - Dairy tacos (fake meat crumbles) and Spanish rice
Wednesday - Chicken pot pie (made with shabbos's chicken soup) and chicken nuggets for the kid who wont eat it) adn sweet potatos and salad
Thursday - Pancakes and fruit

Last week was more meat oriented, we had chicken fajitas and rice one night, a bbq another night, and shabbos left overs another night. So this week the kids wanted more dairy.

I love that idea! May I ask how many kids do you have and how old are they?

The reason I do chicken every night is bec. we don't really like dairy/fish. I change up the types of meat I use- cutlets light and dark, bottoms, ground beef or turkey. For Shabbos I either do simple baked chicken or if we have guest I'll do red meat. No major differentiation- but I don't understand why that's necessary?

I have 3 kids who participate in this. Their ages range from 5-15. My husband and I also pick a night. My night is always leftover oriented.
