For those who live or will be visiting Shvuot in Yerushalayim this year, will you be going to the Kotel this year?
The situation is very tense here, and I'm afraid this year will be the first time in many years staying home.

I would go but it's going to be sooo hot.
I'm not worried about the safety. There will be thousands of people and hundreds of policemen

As someone who lived in Jerusalem up until recently, I wouldn't go because of the crowds but definitely security would not be a reason. There is so much security, I would guess it's safer than a regular day .

I used to go in my single days, and would still go. Security situations have never kept me from the Old City, certainly not the Jewish and Armenian Quarters, at least.

I never went when I lived in Jerusalem but that was because of the crowds. Security would not be on my mind at all.
OP, I think there will be a LOOOOT of security in the old city and all around the kotel, much more than usual. I dont think there is anything to worry about.
