I have an off-white chiffon shirt that lost its color in the wash. Now it looks basically white. I'm not sure if it's from something else in the load or just the fabric. Any ideas how I can get its color back? It was so pretty

OP, did you wash it with a detergent that contains optical bleach or optical highlighter? Any off-white thing should be washed only with detergent intended for coloured items.

I used regular detergent that I use for all my colors. No bleach

You can't really get the color back.
You can dye it or color it with tea bags but I don't suggest it as it's a pain, hard to make it even, get the right color, maintain the color.

Use Nature Bright to soak it instead of other oxygenated products.

I used to use nature bright but wasn't happy with the way the white shirts came out so stopped using.

I like Oxiclean better for white shirts.
Nature Brite only for items that might lose their color.

If you know its color is delicate, use Woolite and gentle cycle.
