My 2 yr old bites his nails. Hes an extremely happy child but also very sensitive.
Neither myself nor my husband have this habit so I don't know where he could have learnt this from.
Could this be anxiety at this age? How can I stop this habit?

It's called body focused repetitive behavior and has a biological cause, usually chronic infection, especially by parasites. I just cut my child's nails for the first time in 2.5 years after starting treating for chronic strep! High dose NAC can also help.
