Looking for a nutritionist/dietician/diet program that follows the intuitive Eating methods that's located in Boro Park. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the info! Will check out Rena Reiser and Tzivia Pill. If anyone has first-hand experience, I'd love to know which one is better.

Yes. I don't think she is in line with intuitive eating.

Hi! Rena Reiser here.
Rachel Goodman is 100% in line with Intuitive Eating. I am in touch with her and she is a wonderful dietitian for those who would like her help.
I'm also available for coaching, and can provide references for those who want feedback from my clients.
Thanks for sharing my article!

What would it mean to have a nutritionist that is in line with intuitive eating? The whole point is not to obsess and analyze your food with a food plan etc?
I ask because I have found that many, myself included, end up turning intuitive eating into yet another diet.....

Someone might use a nutritionist to help them along this journey if they are recovered from an eating disorder and need to make sure they're meeting their daily nutritional needs, or if they have a medical condition that requires medical nutrition therapy.
The reason most turn IE into another diet is because one of the hardest principles is rejecting the diet mentality. It's so ingrained into us that it often takes guidance from a coach/therapist/dietitian to help move beyond it.

The cost is similar to what you would pay a nutritionist or a therapist out of pocket. I also run a group program which is more cost effective.

Yea, I looked it up on your website. That's a lot of money for me. A lot.
I wish there'd be something more economical out there...

There is. It's called reading the literature and implementing it, joining online support groups, etc.

It's true, support costs significant money. The more personalized the support, the more it costs. As amother wrote above, there are books, podcasts (I have one on my website), support groups, CDs, email lists...all available for free or low-cost.
