We have a wedding in January, we’re trying to find gowns for the bridesmaids.
Most sil s have 1 or 2 daughters to buy for. I have 6.
They are happy to spend more on dresses but I simply can’t.
They refuse to get from China as they look inferior. Have you ever bought? Was it a good/ bad experience?
Please can someone help me find reasonably priced dresses!!
We live in England.
Open to all suggestions

Not sure about England but most of the Chinese sites now sell thru Amazon

Do all the cousins have to have the same dress, or can you have a colour scheme eg bridesmaid dresses are burgundy. Or even bridesmaid dresses are burgundy with lace and ankle length. That still leaves plenty of room for you and SILs to buy the dresses you each choose for your daughters.

We got through ali and were fairly happy with it. Do what suits you best. It’s coming out of your paycheck after all- and not your sils...

Are there no gown gemachs or chasuna gown rental places in England? We rented for our girls from such places and they were high quality, stunning gowns. Much cheaper than buying...
Sometimes you can find little girls gowns on Pink Princess but often they look cheap. You never know... it pays to look.

What about local department stores? Around the holidays the stores here have gorgeous dresses for not a lot of money.
I bought last year for my son's bar mitzvah & they were beautiful. (Velvet and tafetta)

My neighbors bought from China & they looked like a piece of junk. The nice ones from Ali that look good on are over $100.

If you look you can find nice dresses for about $100 each

The company called to make sure the measurements we gave them we’re correct and they were really helpful. It arrived on time and she looked beautiful.
