I realized I was doing something wrong when my eyeshadow was sticking to the foundation under my eyes as it fell from the brush during application.
So what is the ideal order for a full face?
(I’d also like a good primer, available in Israel)

I didn't even know there could be a different order.
First moisturizer.
Then primer on face and lips
Concealers
Foundation
Bronzer
Blush
Lip pencil
Lip colors
Lip sealer
Curl eye lashes
Shadow
Contact lens
Liner
Mascara
Finishing powder
Face sealer
You need to tap your brush is you are getting excess on your face.

Many people, especially professionals, do eyes before foundation/concealer to prevent powder fall-out on your freshly applied foundation. If you’re doing an eye that might create some fall-out, ideally the order would be:
Primer
Eye primer/small amount of concealer/foundation on eyelid to even skin tone
Eye shadow
Eye liner
Mascara
Foundation
Concealer
Blush
Bronzer
Eye pencil/gel
Setting powder - can also be applied at various stages in the process to make product last, but not before a cream application.
Lip product.

Thank you!
I guessed that I should try doing my eyes first, but it’s hard to change a habit.
Dh likes a heavy eye, so that’s what I want to be able to do without looking like I have a black eye (or two).

I can’t believe people put this much make up on their face in one go!

You can definitely do your eyes first, if you're getting a lot of fallout on your face. And tapping your brush is recommended, like a PP said. Certain shadows are more powdery and prone to fallout.
But also - are you setting your foundation with a setting or finishing powder? If your face is already set with powder, it should be easier to brush away some loose eye shadow, because your face is not as sticky.

I didn't post that list but I do similar. It takes a lot quicker than it actually looks in writing .
Op you can definitely do eyes first. Especially if you're doing a heavy look. You'll just have to be careful when applying the foundation not to mess it up.

Well, I did ask about a full face!
I’m running out of primer, which ones are good?

I am a professional makeup artist. It depends on what I'm in the mood of. Some days, I apply eyeshadow first so that I dont ruin foundation. Other days, I do primer, foundation, concealer, and then I bake. Baking is just loading up your under eyes with transluscent setting powder (and other parts of face) . Then, I do eyeshadow. The fallout with land on the "baking powder". When I'm done, I use a huge fluffy brush to wipe away the powder, and all the fallout comes with it.
Then I finish up under eyes (shadow, highlighter, mascara) and then I do contour, bronzer, highlighter, blush.
Then lipstick. Then setting spray.

For me a “full face” is mascara, eye liner, and lipstick! 🤷🏻♀️

I always do eyes first. On regular days I only wear eyeliner, mascara, moisturizer, and transparent loose powder (eyes are a must or I look ill). For Shabbos or simchas, I apply in this order:
Eye primer
Eyeliner
Mascara
Eye shadow
Another coat of mascara
Clean up eyes
Moisturizer
BB cream
Eyebrows (fill in and smooth)
Loose powder
Lips
I don't wear blush but if I did it would go on before the loose powder. I find if I do eyes after face it messes up the face.
