I need to write a letter to our local council member for a favor. I almost completed the whole letter but I am missing the first paragraph. I am sitting over it and I can't come up with something impressive. I need it to say that I am writing to him cause I know he does so much for our community and I am sure he will be able to help us. Whatever I write does not sound right. It needs to look official. Help
