I’ve done laser for five years now and would like to switch to another place (mainly for face.)
Can anyone recommend someone good in Lakewood?

Don’t do laser for your face. You risk getting a burn (which can be noticeable and scar) and also you’ll need to shave! Electrolysis is the best for your face in my opinion. I did it and haven’t seen any hair growth since BH

I have done laser all along and never got a burn on my face. I am too scared of Electrolysis - pain wise.

I found laser way more
Painful than electrolysis. Especially if you get numbing cream.

I started using numbing cream for laser. Electrolysis also use numbing cream?
Also I do the sideburns, neck, chin, lip area...electrolysis can do so many areas?

okay maybe 4 yrs... doing it since I am married. I kind of gave up on my body and just shave time to time.
Its very good but still have thin hairs although I expected it to be perfect for that amount of money.
But my face still needs it (I have dark hair)

OP, you shouldnt need more than 6-8 sessions of laser per area. How come its taking years?? 6-8 sessions should get rid of the hair for years. I have black thick hair & 8 sessions lasted me years.

I did laser when I lived in Brooklyn by someone in Williamsburg.
Something is wrong if it's taking more than 8 sessions to completely get rid of the hair. Maybe theres something in your body that's preventing you from responding to the laser. I wouldn't try someone else till you figure it out. It's a waste of money.

I started my laser treatment at a place that used SopranoIce Laser machine. I did about 8 sessions there and I'm happy with the results in most areas. For the areas I want to get rid of more hair I started going to a place that uses a different type of laser machine.

Op here. Thanks for the recommendations.
I have used Chana in the past for waxings and rather not go back.
I have used Chanie Pomerantz but left her.
DH keeps bugging me to find someone else.
Did anyone have experience with Shira's Salon?
Any one else have good experience with another place?

I was looking into it also, and the name I keep hearing is Chana Litwack and that she is very gentle and good. No idea about Shira, but she is for sure newer at it.

Sure nothing too major. The first person I went to, I was going for a few years was taking waayy too long and when I left her the 2nd lady told me that it should not have taken so long.
I was pretty happpy with this 2nd place but I literally have to call and call to get an appointment.
I just cant run after someone every time I need to make an appointment. its super frustrating.
