My fifth grade son doesn't generally love to read, but he loves the Tintin series. I would really appreciate any recommendations for similar series! TIA!

not sure if they are in print but jo and zette is by the same author as tintin. Only 3 or 3 books though.

I don't know the former but I remember Asterix. It does seem to be the what's next after Tin Tin but IIRC there may be some women's pics. (Am I thinking Hagar? )
Unlike Hagar, or Garfield, etc., these are stories, not just one page, 3 or 4 panel cartoons.
I wish you well. The secular graphic novel genre isn't easy to navigate and you'll run out of stuff soon. And even though there's a plethora of Jewish graphic novels, if you have lending libraries available, I'd aim for a more varied literary diet. Not sure how to get your son there.

Thanks for the ideas! the books don't necessarily need to be graphic novels, just books that boys that like Tintin generally like, thanks
