I am looking for those old gameboys we had as kids..that we put those gray plastic games in the back like super mario 2 etc.
no wifi..just the good oldfashioned one
can't seem to find online for cheap..theyre like $70
any ideas/leads?

About 8 years ago (maybe less) my DH bought a used one at GameStop . I don't know if it's still an item they would carry. However, I think the price was about $70 back then as well.

I recently bought on amazon retro game boys . They come preloaded with all games. They were under 20$ each and we have them for 6 months and they’re still working great. Now each of my kids have their own and there’s no fighting.!

Aliexpress has copies of these gameboys including the games for pennies. If you care about authenticity you can buy used. Since the original company is no longer manufacturing this product I wouldn't feel guilty buying a copy.

I think they are expensive because people remember them from their childhood and want them again. And they're rare so the prices go up. My husband still has his from when he was 6 and it still works!

Nintendo ds and game boy color are being sold secondhand on Amazon starting at around $35 to 40.

Toys 4 u (in Lakewood) sells this..although not Nintendo brand it has Mario games along with many others and no wifi.
About $25-30
