What is Uber eats? How does it work?

It's an online food ordering and delivery platform by Uber.
Basically, a restaurant signs up and joins Uber Eats. Then you can order from that restaurant directly through Uber Eats (do a search for the restaurant you want on Uber Eats or just look through their restaurant listing in your zip code). You pay Uber Eats. The restaurant prepares the order that Uber Eats sends them. Uber Eats delivery guy picks your order up from the restaurant, and delivers it to you.

How do I know which resteraunts in my area offer this service? And I guess Uber charges a fee for this?

Besides charging a fee they sometimes add to each item as well. It sometimes pays to check the restaurants website to see if its cheaper to order directly from them or from Doordash, or Seamless.

You can search in the uber eats app for the restaurant you want

Ellacoe, what are doordash & seamless?
I downloaded ubereats and very little restaurants here have this service.
