Author and illustrator Ann D. Koffsky will be signing copies of her books at Eichler’s Judaica in Boro Park on Sunday, May 19 from 2:30-4:30 PM.
She’ll be sharing:
Judah Maccabee Goes to the Doctor: a story that helps explain how vaccines work in a non-scary way for young children. IT also emphasizes the value of shmor et nafsheca. Dr. Lorry Rubin, the Director of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York, described it as, “A terrific story! It reminds us of the importance of vaccines—not only for the health of the individual child, but for the wider community, too.”
Sarah Builds a School: A chapter book that describes the life of Sarah Schenirer. Co authored with Dr. Leslie Ginsparg Klein.
and
Avi For President: A chapter book about a young boy who decides to run for president…and the lashon horas that follows!
These books—and more!--will be available at Eichler’s Judaica on Sunday.
Hope to see you there!
