Engaged at 20, married at 21. Chassidish. I was already desperate, but I will do the same for my kids, not rush into shidduchim straight out of HS. I so appreciated everything because I wanted it so badly.

There isn't always a correlation between maturity and age at marriage. I knew how to run a house and care for little ones by 12 but it doesn't mean I was ready for the other resposibilities of marriage. I see so many young women marrying early then acting lke they're playing house (not saying this was true in your case.)
I got married at 32 and it wasn't because I was immature and not ready before then, that's just how it worked out and I didn't meet the right person before.
My Mum got engaged just before her 17th birthday and married at 18 and I hoped the same for myself, but it just didn't work out that way.

Got engaged at 20 and married a few months later, just before my 21st birthday.
Retrospectively, I can't believe how young I was, but at the time I didn't think so.

I met my husband at 22 and got married at 23. Was secular but from USSR where getting married starting from 17 was the norm . Some of my classmates got married after the graduation, which was at 17 . My grandparents were very worried that I got married so late - at 23  Starting from 20 years old they pressed me to look for a husband.

I was married at 24. Never even crossed my mind to ask all the important questions about parnassa, future plans, kids etc etc... I was 'in love'! Made for an interesting shana rishona...!

I really should have put 25-30 but ultimately I was 25. But not religious then. My husband is three years younger. We’d hsve gotten married earlier but he was literally in first year uni when we met and second when we got engaged. We wanted him to finish post secondary before our wedding.
