I'm thinking about getting a lace top for awhile but I was just advised by a local sheital macher that they are extremely delicate and and need constant upkeep. The lace gets stretched out, and you can't give it to just anybody to wash. Does anyone have any opinions about this, preferably from someone who owns one. ty

I’ve heard they are making them sturdier but still more delicate then traditional. I am looking to get first hand experience!! I want one so bad.
