I’m a orchos chaim parent (plain, yeshivish poor  and simple). Rabbi censor has a wonderful reputation!!
I think all schools today the boys are into name brands. Which boy isn’t wearing tiros exclusively this summer.

I am an Orchos Chaim parent. We are not a rich or trendy family. My boys do just fine there without all the latest gear (although I do buy them the cool sneakers of their choice, and keep them nicely dressed, mostly thanks to Walmart).
The atmosphere of the school is generally that of respect for other ppl. This comes straight from the top. The owner and menahel have always treated us with utmost respect. Rabbi Shulman is a wonderful role model. I cannot emphasize enough the good middos that he teaches by example, and in his dealings with the boys.
Although the crowd may not be exactly your speed, in my opinion it is a very small price to pay for being in such a wonderful school.
I'm also aware its hard to get in, and the tuition is expensive.

That's because Bais Faiga is a big mix and not one specific type. You'll really find everything there. Most other schools are more geared to a specific type.
