This thread is awesome. So funny.

I got married because I needed someone to buy me snacks at 11 PM on his way home from shul. No way I'm going out at that time for ice cream.

I also needed someone who is good at trying to kill spiders and letting them get away.

I got married so I'd be able to say: How many men does it take to change a lightbulb?

I got married so my husband could make havdalah for me; I don't think I would look good with the beard that women allegedly grow if they make havdalah!

I got married because I wanted another head. Two heads are better than one! So in case mine is sleeping I can always rely on the other one! LOL

Post Aliyah, I couldn't find a back scratcher ANYWHERE! Not in the supermarket, not in the Shuk. So I married one.

For the phone calls. Takes me 3 days to work up the courage to call the dental office. He does all my phone calls.

Honesty, I married because I couldn't reach light bulbs and I hate standing on ladders.

You?

Well, I got married so HE could do all those things for me. Except birthing the babies. If I'd been thinking, I would have married a pre-surgical transgender man and let him do that, too.
