I have noticed that my DD who has just turned 7 has BO in the under arm area at the end of the day. She does bath daily before bed.
Is this normal in a child this young? Do children of this age wear deodorant? I remember being much older when this happened to me.
She is tall for her age but very slim, a little underweight, and has no other signs of puberty.

I had this with one of my kids at age 8. Pediatrician told me it was fine to have him start using deodorant.

Did he end up going through puberty early?

My kids younger than 7 stink at the end of a summer day.

I had this with one DD at age 7 too.
I was also concerned but the doctor said it was normal.
I found deodorant for her w/o aluminum.
Puberty followed at a totally normal age.
