This morning when I took a load of laundry out of the dryer, they had a faint but very noticeable smell of burned rubber/plastic. It's possible it's from a skirt that has a faux leather piece, or it could be an internal dryer problem. I guess I'll get a repairman if necessary, but meanwhile I have another load of laundry ready to go into the dryer. Do you think it's safe? Has anyone had this experience?

Check out that faux leather skirt. Did the leather melt? If yes then that's probably what the smell is & you can probably use the dryer without worrying. If it's not that, then call a technician
