My toddler woke up yesterday with low grade fever and seemed a little tired all morning.
Appetite and behavior was fine.
I had an appt with another child at the pediatrician and took along toddler. They tested him for Flu just in case and it came back positive.
There is no more fever since yesterday morning at all and child looks fine other than a little runny nose (that's been going on all winter).
How long is flu contagious?
Is it ok to do errands if child stays in stroller?

That's my question. I don't see any symptoms.

Usually Flu is contagious BEFoRE and AFTER (after is usually 5-7 days, depending on a few factors (immune status etc), not just symptoms. So although your child may have 'bounced back', he or she may still be contagious.

Did you give tamiflu. Even with no symptoms I was told must keep kids home minimum number days after starting fever. I’ve had 100% healthy kids bouncing off the walls home.
