Hmm the address on the website is a Chinese company. I wonder if it's a knockoff?

They accept Paypal. If you pay with PayPal and never receive your item, you should be able to get your money back.

I would’ve loved to buy this but we invested $800+ in putting a Bose sound system around our house. Are these regular radio stations/Internet radio stations that I could connect to my Bose? Or is this content exclusive to Naki radio? Tysm! |
I have a system.as well. I got the bigger one and it has a port so I connected it to my whole system, now it can play in all rooms.

I emailed Naki Radio and they Said they are not in any way affiliated with that site and they’re not an authorized seller.

It's a site that just recently popped up with everything listed well below market value. I would stay far away from it.

Why am I getting the same kids story over and over? Just one story playing on each channel.

Question:
I got a $100 Chanukah gift and am debating between this vs a pair of ugg slippers for myself
We have an Echo Dot that we connect to Spotify for Jewish music.
My kids listen to Jewish music on Spotify, and the Kol Berama children's hour on a regular radio.
How many children's channels are there on Naki, and what sort of music/stories do they play? Do they have 24 hour programming? Is the sound very clear?

The sound quality changes depending on what it is. If it is a story or something recorded live, the quality has not been amazing.

Thanks. Did you get it in the end? If so, I'm happy for you!!!
How many kids' channels are there, and what do they play?
Does the radio connect well, ie is there a lot of static?

Yes, thanks! My husband's grandmother sent chanukah gelt and we got it! The radio connects well as long as its in a good spot. We moved it because it had to keep loading. Its not a real radio so there is no static, just wifi issues which will either matter or not matter depending on the quality of your wifi. There are a few children's channels, not as many as I had hoped but its enough.
The one thing I wish was different is the storys/shiurim. They are very short and do not automatically go from one to the next when it ends. I keep it in the kitchen because I wanted to be encouraged to listen to Torah content while cooking/cleaning (as opposed to plug in my airpods and listen to shows on netflix) and its annoying to have to keep coming back to start another thing.
Still, I love it and my kids love it even more. Last night they brought it to their room and listened to the bedtime stories.
If I could make a wishlist for the makers of Naki Radio, it would be to have dedicated channels, like a Mordechai Shapiro channel, similar to how spotify and pandora have, where the music is either that singer or singers who are similar in style. Another wish would be continual play of the stories, and lastly, longer stories.

I’m finding the sound very clear , but if they’re playing a tape from the 1980s, the quality won’t be as good.

We purchased it this week and so far the kids are loving it. However, does it need to be plugged in to work? I was under the impression that it has a rechargeable battery and can be moved around the house without being plugged in, but it doesn't seem to work.

I had the same problem until I figured out the trick!
Open up the battery compartment and turn on a little
switch there to put it on battery mode.
