The easiest and quickest way to cut down significantly (besides for all these great tips) is to cut down on animal proteins and substitute for plant-based.

Winter is great time for this because you can make hearty soups and stews

OP - how many people are in your family? Do you host often? Do you have elaborate Shabbos menus? What stores do you shop in? These kinds of things make a big difference in what kind of average is reasonable to spend weekly.
For example, we are three people, don't host often, cook simple Shabbos, shop in Costco and kosher grocery, and spend around $130-200 weekly average, sometimes more or less. My goal is around $150...
