Lace front is cheaper than lace top. I’m not sure I understand the full difference . Can anyone explain? Also wondering about yafi wigs? Are they as amazing as they look on Instagram? Can anyone recommend someone who sells yafi wigs? Thanks!

Lace top is where the entire top part of the wig is sewn into lace. Lace front is where a piece of lace is added to the front and only the front hairs are added to the lace.
Wherever lace is, it looks more natural, so if the lace is just in the front, it looks like the front is growing out of the scalp. If the lace is on the whole top cap, then it looks like all the hair along the part is growing out of the scalp.
Lace top def. looks way more natural.

The hair on the lace covers the hair underneath. If its parted and the lace is not lined then yes you can see the hair. Sheitel machers use makeup to make the part skin colored so that dark (or blonde) hair doesnt show thru.
This is why its questionable halachicly but AYLOR

Many women line the inside of their lace wigs or wear a cap under to solve this issue.
