Is this a joke??
I get up at 6 bec I have to,
But 8:30 isn’t lazy! It’s pretty early actually...
I used to sleep in until ten for sure, when I was newly married.
12:00 is kinda late for an adult serious person but 8:30? Not at all. Enjoy!!

For Most people , the reason they get up before 7 is because they have to.

What time do your schools start?
Op enjoy it! The time will probably come when you gave to wake up earlier.

I'd say you're good. Enjoy those years. |
Seriously? What’s his excuse? Is he up at midnight mourning the Churban and saying selichos? Or does he work the night shift?

I used to get up at 6:30 to enjoy the last few minutes of quiet time before getting the kids out and a hectic workday. If not for that, I wouldn't dream of getting up before 9-930.
Nowadays, I usually wake up at 745, running.....
Please, enjoy it while you can

My baby wakes up at 6:30, takes a bottle and goes back to sleep till 9. The other kids are in the school bus at 7:15. I go right back to bed and sleep till 9ish when the baby wakes up. Do you! Live your life!

I go to sleep between 1am-2am every night as I work from home and only get quite time when the older kids are in bed! plus my husband works late too and gets in about 12-1am so I wait up for him anyway. I get up 8am and the kids are out by 9am. THEN I GO BACK TO SLEEP 10.30AM-1PM! BLISS MORNING SLEEP TIME! just do what works for you!

If you dont have to put a kid on the bus in the morning then by all means sleep in!!! and enjoy it! No, youre not lazy!
My mother is in her 60's and doesn't work and she generally gets up at 9 am.... we consistently tell her that she doesnt need to feel guilty about it bc for what should she be rushing out of bed?
Just enjoy the sleep!
