2 giant bags full and I felt like I was hoarding. My husband thinks I dress shlumpy and I can't afford new clothes at the moment. I feel guilty depriving other women who might not have clothes. I feel low self-esteem and embarrassment a little because of the way I dress. And even my husband is embarrassed by the way I dress. How much is too much? I know I need some clothes but I think taking 50 items is stretching it. Pls help me decide how much to return to them. I don't need a new outfit for each day of the month.

I don't think you have to worry about taking too much. If they gave it, I am sure it was with an open heart.
The question is, is it too much to handle. Do you have room for it all, are you able to keep it neat and be able to maintain washing so many clothes, or will they just stay in the bag?
Choose the 6 outfits that you love the way you look in for winter weekday, 2 for shabbos. Same for summer. Something special for weddings. A robe. Enjoy each new look!

I used to run a g'mach, so just some perspective: trust me, they have way more inventory than customers!! The g'mach is THRILLED when people take large bags of clothes and do not want returns! If you look good in the clothes and they are sufficiently up to date for you, wear them knowing you helped some overwhelmed g'mach lady with more donations than she can keep up with!
