Some people do have orange hair. Hence, the nickname carrot top or carrots. Other people have red hair.

Carrot top, yes, although I personally consider that offensive. Orange hair is not widely used in the non-frum world.

Not quite as the Yiddish word for lend is lei, to lend, leiyan, and borrow is borg/borgen. For some strange reason both lend and lei have fazed out as borrow and borg have taken over both lend and lei. I wonder why...
