Can anyone recommend a male therapist trained in sandtray therapy, for boy age 9?

Why do you particularly want Sandtray?
It's literally a mini sandbox with little toys /cards. Any child therapist can use a ton of modalities for a 9 yo - Play, art, cbt, music etc and can even do sand if that's what you want. I'd look for an expert child therapist instead of a Sandtray one.

Sand therapy is trauma specific and can do things that cbt and traditional talk therapy can't do. A therapist who uses sand as a modality is not the same as a trained sand play trauma therapist. And a sand play therapist can also do play, art, music, etc.

I'm in NY - being that sessions will be done remotely the therapist does not need to be local.
Seeking specifically male.
