Don't give. Not because it isn't ethical to give a small thing but because it's awkward for both of us so why do it?

No I don’t and have never considered it
We have a few threads here about this
However
I will say and acknowledge that I don’t have any of the attachment issues that I see many people here deal with their therapist.
Presumably the reasons I see a therapist is different than the reasons that they do and as such their relationship with their therapist plays a larger role in their life than mine does.
So I don’t know what I’d do if I had a different situation.
