Don’t have a doctor to call. How long can 102 fever last? 4 hours after 2 Tylenol it’s back to that already. Anything to do?

My sis is a doctor and she said that there's not really enough data that ibuprofen (motrin, advil, etc..) is a problem. She is of the opinion that if your symptoms are bad, it's preferable to take an occasional advil or such, to help bring down the fever, etc....
When I was my sickest, I took an occasional advil and it really helped. I tried to take it at times I felt it would benefit me and my family the most...like I took one before Shabbos, and had a pleasant Shabbos Seudah with DH and the girls, and a good night's sleep after...which was important.

I had high temperature for about 2 days but paracetamol helped to bring it down. Refuah sheleima b'korov
