In Lakewood you can call mrs chani Englard on Forest ave or Braude on 14th street and tell them you have fresh milk to give away. They'll know who to give it to!
Please don't throw it away! Sad

Did anyone find out if they would take the milk?
I'm pretty sure they would know how to give it away!
I don't understand that it's so hard to give milk away...

Please tell me more!

For the wool tzitzis it’s part of the soaking “recipe”. I don’t know where I put the recipe but it has vinegar, murphy, detergent, milk (abt 1/2-1 cup each) I think a cap of iron out. Hmm, haven’t done it in a while 😕...

Actually I’m not finding the that the food they give out is over abundant at all. It’s just the milk for some reason!

Govt and dairy industry are very "buddy buddy"-- right now there's a huge surplus of milk. The govt is trying to help out the dairy industry (and agricultural industry) by taking some off of their hands, to the tune of $100 million per month on just dairy products alone. That was part of the CARES Act. From there, I assume it just gets passed on to school lunch programs.

This article does a good job at describing the situation:
