typical me...
I am in the middle of making a chocolate cake and I realise I dont have cocoa..
what I have done so far is combine water, sugar and marge and melted over the fire.. and now I need to add the cocoa
its too late to borrow from any one.. do you think I can put the melted stuff in the fridge till tomoro when I can get cocoa instead of wasting it? and I can re-melt it tomoro?

Why don't you add coffee just a tad, so it will have a butterscotch flavour, or alot for a cofffee cake, just make sure the suger will be enough.

that's a smart idea tefila. if it's a lot of cocoa you need you should also add some flour to make up for the lack of cocoa powder. I think

If you do that you may end up with a rubbery cake  tried and tested  do not for edibility sake

for 3/4 cup of cocoa what would you say for coffe? mix it with sugar?

Uh don't Thank me just yet wait until that cake has been eaten  I would also if I were you try the batter even a squidgy amount for taste

yeah the batter tastes good.. a bit carmely.. thats a good thing!
