We have a pool in our backyard. I have a 6 foot chain link fence, with a lock, around the pool. I am still nervous and want to install a lock in addition to the standard lock on my sliding glass doors to the patio that leads to the pool. Anyone have any suggestions?

We have a lock that bolts into the floor of the sliding door that locks with a key...we installed it the day we moved in so kids can't accidentally acess the pool. And hid the key.

You can get a door alarm.

Do you have a link for it? Thanks!

I think any bolt lock you put up high enough is good as long as the kids can’t reach it even if they get a chair So Make sure to measure

Also I like the alarm idea especially if it’s something that rings on your cell phone
