well,its that time of year agai, my husbnd enjoys bbqingsteak and red meat,im looking for healthy reipes,such as veggies and chicken.if u have any please post.im looking also for yummy potato recipes.thanx!

You can marinate chicken breasts in lemon juice, olive oil, salt and black pepper for 30 minutes, then throw it on the grill and it's delicious. (2:1 oil:juice)

I made amazing bbq veggie shishkabob last week. If I may say so myself!!
I took the wood skewers and soaked them in water first.
I took mushrooms, red peppers, zuccini, onions, and yellow squash and cut them up kind of chunky. I marinated them for 1/2 hour in soy sauce, honey, garlic (powder or real), paprika and some sweet wine. Then I put them on the skewers with one of each veg at least and the colours are nice and bbq'ed it. You can brush on more sauce while it's on the "q".
You can marinate meat chunks separately and add them to the skewers, just don't brush on the sauce that the meat has been marinating in bc it has raw meat juice in it. You can use cheap stewing beef but I would marinate it at least overnight so soften it up and make it really tender. Add more wine, vinegar or lemon juice to the meat marinade.
I sometimes bbq veggies and serve them in a bowl as a salad for shabbos lunch.
