I heard there is another area of montobello with more reasonable real estate taxes. Not near the current shul but there is someone looking to start one up. You need to speak to a knowledgeable broker, it’s very very new and will take time to attract frum people, but they may be to your benefit if you’re a pioneer.

My chassidish friend lives in Montebello. They're the only Jews within afew miles, she carpools her kids to school. She loves the peace and quiet but her kids are very bored. When they dont go away for shabbos, her DH davens alone at home.
I dont think its fair for kids to move to a place without neighbors and for them to grow up with a father that does not go to shul.

Does anyone know if there is a shul at 84 viola? Is there a Chabad in the area?

84 Viola is an active shul and is somewhat 'chabad' oriented.

I live in Montebello area for a few years already. There are quite a few chasidish families living here.
Feel free to ask me any questions.
