I was told I might be eligible for childcare vouchers. Can someone enlighten me on where to go to find out more about how this works? I also know there is a waitlist of some sort.
Do you need to apply through a certain playgroup? What age does a kid need to be to get vouchers? Can you get childcare for an infant or just a playgroup?
I'm in Brooklyn.

I believe you need to apply through ACS. It's a difficult process that involves going down for interviews, and lots of paperwork. My parents got it at some point when I was a child, and they were busy with it for weeks. They had to go downtown a few times until they were finally approved. There are people in Brooklyn that charge money to help you through the process.

my son is 2.4 can I still apply? what is the eligibility?
