Looking for healthy snack ideas to keep around my office. I work in a school that is nut free, so I cannot bring anything with nuts into the building. I don't have a fridge. For lunch, I eat the school lunch. But I do need some snacks around for between meals. My usual go to snacks are nuts, string cheese, or high protein sugar free yogurt, none of which are doable in these circumstances. Any other ideas?

Get a cooler with an ice pack and put your yogurt or string cheese in there

Veggie sticks: carrots, cucumber, bell pepper, radish, celery stalks, cherry tomatoes,
Add a drop of water to the box where you keep the veggies, so that they won't dry out (specially carrots)
No need to cool it during the day...
you might want to dip it in yoghurt (with garlick and dill and salt?) or in chummus (which has more calories).
Fruit: water melon, pinapple, nectarine, plums, apple, orange...
Either one fruit or a fruit salad from many different fruits
Muesli: oats, a drop of milk, white yoghurt, and 2 or more kinds of diced fruit.
I specially like blueberries and nectarines... and a little bit of nuts or almonds
rye sourdough crackers
Pumpernickel bread with creamcheese and dill (keep creamchees in a little container and spread just before eating) (Pumpernickel is the bread with least calories per 100g and is very satisfying, and contains probiotics, and it has a long shelf-life, and you can get pre-packed units of 50g..)

Prewashed vegetables like mini cucumbers, baby bell peppers, celery sticks.
How do you feel about jerky (either beef or salmon)?

Thanks for the ideas. Did not think of the jerky, definitely a good idea! I suppose hard boiled eggs are good for a morning snack so they don't need to sit around till afternoon.

My kids take an insulated lunch bag to school and put frozen ice packs in.their food literally stays cool all day! If they come home with something at the end of the day it's still cold.
