At what temp and for how long should I bake a French roast, slightly frozen still. 3.80 pounds. I want it to be butter soft.
Thanks in advance!

Are you going to freeze it or eat it?
What spices/liquids do you put onto it?

I do that too! I use the deep 9×13 pans. Spice generously with salt, pepper, paprika. Add cubed garlic and diced onions. Add red wine if you have! Cover very well with aluminum foil.
I put it in oven before I go to bed and wake up to an amazing smell of roast beef! Buttery soft meat!
(If it's not as soft as you should like it, cool, slice and put back in pan. Let it simmer when you reheat!)

I keep reading this as "French Toast".
First you take the stale challah left over from Shabbos...
